It’s almost spring, which means it’s time to clear your space and your mind! While Disney Housing may not be your permanent residence, we want it to feel like home. Plus, apartment inspections are conducted on a regular basis so keeping your space looking “show-ready” is also an important part of your program. So roll your sleeves up and sing your happy little working song while you following along with this spring cleaning checklist!


  • Wipe your kitchen countertops, and get rid of food debris on the stovetop, oven and microwave.
  • Wipe down the refrigerator to clean up any spillage.
  • Throw out old food that may be hidden in the back of the shelf.
  • Mop the floors.
  • Take out the trash and recycling (make this a daily habit!).

Living Room

  • Clean up any clutter and keep things organized.
  • Vacuum or dust/mop floors.
  • Dust the blinds, fan and AC vents.


  • Remove mildew in common problem spots like the counter, shower tub and faucets.
  • Clean the toilet bowl.
  • Dust/Vacuum and mop the floors.
  • Wipe down the mirrors.
  • Organize personal items and clear any clutter from the countertop and other surfaces.


  • Clean up any clothing left on the floor or furniture.
  • Dispose of the trash and leftover food.
  • Dust the blinds, fan and AC vents.
  • Vacuum the floors.
  • Throw away or recycle old items that you may not need anymore.
