Ready, set, go! The ultimate Disney Programs bucket list challenges you to hit all four Walt Disney World Resort parks in one night. Think you can handle it? Well, for this park-hopping adventure, participants left their park bags behind for a dazzling night they will never forget.
Dresses glistened across the lobby of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Shirts and ties followed behind as the clicks of stilettos echoed through the Veracruz Exhibit Hall. Eager souls quickly filled the dimly-lit room as the music pulsed.
On Dec. 5, Disney Programs participants were invited to gather for an unforgettable evening. They traveled from near and far to come make magic for the guests of Walt Disney World Resort. They dreamed big, they worked hard, and with every hope, they were a part of a memory – a memory that will last a lifetime. On this night, we celebrated their achievements at Winter Formal: Four Parks, One Night.
One of the best parts about park-hopping is meeting all of your favorite characters! At the event, Mickey Mouse suited up by Cinderella Castle, welcoming participants to the corner of the room inspired by Magic Kingdom Park. Woody dropped by to say “Hey howdy hey!” in the Disney’s Hollywood Studios section. Donald asked participants to join his Epcot mariachi band in front of a Spaceship Earth backdrop, and Rafiki had a wild time in the leafy green corner of our version of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
It’s a monorail dance party!
Please stand clear of the stage! Participants really ‘Cupid Shuffle’-d their night away by the Ticket Transportation Center (TTC) dance floor. With a DJ who played the perfect mix of throwback Thursday selections to today’s hits, no one wanted to stay seated for long. Participants kicked their heels off and boogied to the left, to the left, to the left all night long!
Strike a pose!
Participants grabbed their roommates, found their coworkers and smiled big to capture some special moments. Taking a breather from the dance floor, they picked up some silly shades and huddled by a sequined backdrop. This year’s event featured four different photo booth strips, each themed to a different Walt Disney World Resort park. Participants’ programs may not last a lifetime, but those photos sure will!
Did someone say free food?
That’s right! Something was cooking from each park. A buffet complete with a build-your-own-Cobb-salad option, buttered chicken, steamed rice, roasted root vegetables, and a nacho bar awaited participants’ arrival. And to satisfy their sweet tooth, a delectable chocolate brownie was on hand to make for the perfect kiss goodnight.
At the end of the evening, tired feet and happy hearts loaded onto the buses. Participants made their way back home with the fulfillment of checking all four parks off of their bucket list in one night. We hope everyone had the most magical time!
