Mornings can be tough. Your bed says stay, but your alarm clock says otherwise. We’ve all been there! Music always puts a skip in my step in the morning, and what better way to start your day than a Disney music playlist!

First things first, let’s change that alarm to a song you know will wake you up. As the sun starts rolling high in the sapphire sky, there truly isn’t a better song to kick-start your morning than “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King”. As soon as you hear, “Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba” (yes those are the lyrics if you did not know) your heart immediately starts pumping.

Now you’re wide awake, but you need some motivation to keep you moving through this morning. If Rapunzel can do her usual morning line-up in 15 minutes, you bet your bottom dollar that you can be just as motivated too! Whether you have to start on your chores or brush and brush your hair, the upbeat and peppy “When will my life begin” from “Tangled” is the perfect jam to keep you movin’ and groovin’ through the morning!

You’re up and moving and enjoying some sweet tunes, but there are still a few things to be done. Perhaps you need to do some dishes or pack a lunch before you head out for the day. I’m not saying trash your camp, but I am saying that “Trashin’ the Camp” from “Tarzan” is a top-notch lunch packing and dish-washing song.

Congratulations! You’ve gone from zero to hero! You have made your way out of your bed, got somewhat ready and done a chore or two. For this reason, you must celebrate your accomplishments. “Zero to Hero” from “Hercules” is your next song because bless my soul, you’re on a roll! You’re basically a morning pro, so keep it up!

As you continue your morning routine, it’s almost time for you to leave home to go to your next destination. You’re almost there! You’ve almost completed your morning prep. Tiana is no doubt one of the hardest workers Disney fans know. Let Tiana and her song “Almost There” from “The Princess and the Frog” inspire you to put your best foot forward to achieve greatness throughout the day.

Finally, the time has come. You are 100 percent ready for the day. As you prepare to take a step toward your next adventure, pop your headphones in and whistle along with Snow White’s dwarfs. “Heigh-ho, heigh-ho it’s off to work we go!” Whether you’re wandering to a park or off to work, “Heigh-ho” from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is the perfect song to march into your day.

Walt Disney once said, “There’s a terrific power to music. You can run any of these pictures and they’d be dragging and boring, but the minute you put music to them, they have life and vitality they don’t get any other way.” Adding a little music to your morning can add a little zest you never thought you needed. Now go listen to those tunes and seize the day!
