Preparing for Your Disney College Program Arrival in Florida

We hope you’re getting excited for your upcoming Disney College Program arrival! You have finally completed all of the steps to become a CP and you’ve accepted. Congratulations!

You are about to embark on a very unique and rewarding journey! But there’s still one more step to becoming an official cast member: the arrivals process.

With your arrival day just around the corner, here are a few tips to make it a seamless process. We encourage you to get plenty of sleep, eat a well-balanced breakfast, and dress comfortable, as you’ll be standing for periods of time. Also, it’s important that you review the ‘Disney Look’ guidelines on the Onboarding site, as you will want to make a great first impression.

As part of the pre-arrival process we’ll be sending you links to our Onboarding site and New Hire Portal. It’s imperative that you complete all of your onboarding documentation using a computer with Internet Explorer version 7 or 8.

Please be sure to set aside 45 minutes to complete each of these employment documents prior to your scheduled arrival date. Those who haven’t completed this paperwork will receive a reminder via text message a couple of days prior to their arrival date.

apts_vistawayUpon your arrival to Vista Way in Florida, please make sure your government issued identification (Driver’s License, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, or government issued signed Passport) is in hand.

While at Vista Way you will need to complete the I9 Form. This form verifies you are eligible to work in the United States, and must be completed by every employee of The Walt Disney Company. Please remember to bring your I9 Form and identification with you to the Casting Center in Orlando.

Failure to complete and bring the necessary documents will result in a longer wait time and possibly postponing your work start date. Please make every effort possible to remember your valid form(s) of identification to ensure a smooth start to your program, as there are no exceptions to this policy.

If you have any questions about the arrivals process please feel-free to contact us via email ( or by phone (407-828-1736).

Safe travels, and from all of us at Disney Internships & Programs, we’ll see you real soon!
