New plant-based options at Walt Disney World Resort you won’t be-leaf

There’s no secret about it, we’re about to be served with some delicious plant-based options! Recently, the Disney Parks Blog announced that hundreds of plant-powered dishes are coming to both Disneyland Resort and here at Walt Disney World Resort. These new choices consist of ingredients which aren’t made with any animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey. With the release perfectly lining up with World Vegetarian Day, our taste buds can hardly handle the anticipation! While other Disney resorts are currently serving their versions of delicious plant-based bites, here are some plant-based options at Walt Disney World Resort you can enjoy now:

Magic Kingdom Park
We’re yeehawing over the delicious plant-based southwest cheeseburger you can find at the one and only Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café in Frontierland! With a Beyond Burger “meat” base, the burger is topped with vegan jalapeño jack cheese and vegan avocado aioli. The taste will leave you feeling like a true cowboy (or cowgirl) in the wild, wild West!

Epcot
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing until Nov. 23, which means you’ll have the chance to enjoy the Impossible™ cottage pie. This delicious pie is filled with Impossible™ ground meat, carrots, mushrooms and peas, topped with mashed cauliflower, white beans and mozzarella – a meal that’s filling and easy to eat on-the-go!

Disney’s Hollywood StudiosIn a galaxy far, far away, you’ll be able to enjoy some scrumptious space selections including the felucian garden spread – a plant-based “kefta” (Impossible™ meatballs), herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish with a side of pita bread slices! It’s an out-of-this-world experience for you and your taste buds.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
There’s so much to take in Pandora – World of Avatar, it can be exhausting! Make sure to stop by Satu’li Canteen to fuel up with a chili-spiced crispy fried tofu bowl. This dish allows you to be extra adventurous since you can choose your base and sauce then top it off with crispy fried tofu seasoned with chili-spice, crunchy vegetable slaw and boba balls. Rise to the challenge and enjoy this vegetarian delight!

With so many new dishes to try, we’re not sure where to start! Whether you grab a plant-based delicacy at one of the parks or at a resort, there’s an endless supply to choose from. Don’t forget to share your new favorite meal on social media using #DisneyPrograms. We’re all about plant-power and you don’t want to miss out!
