Ever wonder what it takes to be a leader at Disney? Perhaps you want to know how it is that thousands of cast members are able to create memorable experiences and go above-and-beyond for our guests. Or what would it be like to go on a journey in time to learn about Walt Disney and his vision that has made The Walt Disney Company what is it today. There are so many things that you can do on your Disney College Program, but one thing you don’t want to miss out on is the opportunity to learn about all of this and more by taking a Disney Exploration Series seminar!
What is a Disney Exploration Series (DES) Seminar?
These seminars provide participants a unique chance to learn more about Walt Disney World Resort, how it operates in key areas, and how the company ‘does business’. Each class is highly interactive and uses Walt Disney World Resort as your learning laboratory!
Are there different topics?
We offer a wide variety of topics including Disney Heritage, Marketing & Sales, and Leadership 101 to name a few! The topics can vary by term and offerings are announced before registration opens.
What’s the time commitment?
Since your time is limited during your program, each DES seminar is only two hours a week for four weeks. If you attend all four sessions within the series, you will earn a “Mouseters” certificate!
How do you sign up?
The dates of your program will determine which term you are eligible for. You will receive communication from the Education team before the start of the term with all of the information you need on how to register.
