Can you believe it? Our spring programs our already coming to an end and we’re gearing up for our fall arrivals. If you’ll be saying “see you real soon!” in the coming weeks, don’t fret! There are still plenty of things you can do to keep the excitement of your program going and we’re here to give you some tips. Here are some activities that you can do to end your program on a magical high note!
Take on the four park challenge
With your program hour glass ticking down, you’re probably going to want to take advantage of the parks as much as you can. Why not try to take on all four in one day? It puts a fun twist on park hopping and gives you an excuse to grab your favorite Disney snacks from each park. While there are many different variations of the challenge, you can create your own rules. The main focus is fitting in all of your favorite attractions and ending the day at one of the parks with fireworks!
Take advantage of Disney Housing events
While you’ve probably been spending a lot of your time making magic for our guests, it’s nice to have some magical moments for yourself as well. The Disney Housing Events Team hosts some amazing events. Imagine yourself taking a nice, beach day getaway or swimming with manatees. You can find a full calendar of events in the monthly Communicator. Take advantage of all of these great opportunities while you can!
Host a Disney-themed dinner to celebrate the end of your program
Though it’s bittersweet, it’s also an exciting time! You are about to join an entire group of Disney Alumni who have successfully completed a program, just as you are about to and that is plenty of reason to celebrate. Why not host a Disney-themed dinner to celebrate your accomplishment? From Love is an Open S’more, to Bibbidi Bobbidi Brisket, your dinner item options are seemingly endless!
Thank everyone who has helped make an impact on you during your program
With the end of your Disney Program approaching, you may be thinking of everyone you’ve met and the impact they’ve made on your time here. A great way to leave a lasting imprint on your leaders and the friends you have made is by showing them your appreciation. This can be through a verbal thank you or a thank you note. Be creative! It’s the smallest things that can make the biggest lasting impression!
Watch ‘Happily Ever After’ after a full Magic Kingdom day
From the sweet smells from the Confectionary on Main Street U.S.A. to the singing in “it’s a small world”, spending the day at Magic Kingdom is great way to be reminded of why The Walt Disney Company is so special. The best way to end a day at Magic Kingdom Park is by grabbing an ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and enjoying ‘Happily Ever After’ fireworks special. So grab your friends, grab a tissue or four and find a good viewing spot!
