The Engineering Professional Development Study offers Engineering students the unique opportunity to explore technical careers at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Engineering professionals share real-world experiences in areas such as Transportation Maintenance, Ride and Show Engineering and Central Shops.

Garrett from Southeastern Louisiana UniversityGarrett is currently taking the Engineering Professional Development Study course. He is a structural engineering student at Southeastern Louisiana University and is currently enjoying his role as a Main Street Custodial host in the Magic Kingdom Park.

After visiting the Walt Disney World Resort Laundry, Garrett was impressed with the whole process for cleaning and sorting clothes. This week Garrett described meeting the Ride and Show engineers as a very “cool experience” and he added, ”what a great way to network and try to get your name out there.”

Please note this class is limited to declared Engineering majors. There are eight sessions lasting two to three hours in length. Students missing more than one class will be dropped from the course.
