Many of you have asked for details on the event weekend.  Please see the updated itinerary below but please note, some items are still being finalized and may adjust slightly over the next few months.

You are welcome to request changes at registration and we will do our best to accommodate.

Event Itinerary

Your $250 per person registration fee includes the following #CPAlumni Homecoming Weekend main events. Each item listed below is for Alumni members; should you choose to purchase a package for one (1) optional family member or friend over the age of 18, their package will also include the following. 

Event Merchandise

We are thrilled to share event-exclusive merchandise which will be provided to you upon your arrival. These limited edition items will all be complimentary. Top off your weekend with your very own Disney Alumni Association customized MagicBand, a great memento of your #CPAlumni Homecoming Weekend. All items will be distributed at event registration.

In addition, a Company D merchandise location will be located in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Convention Center from 9 a.m.-7 p.m Jan. 19. Exclusive Alumni merchandise will be available for purchase.

“The Magical World of Disney”

A #CPAlumni Homecoming Semi formal

Inside the ballroom, we celebrate the magical world of Disney.  Enter through Majestic Mickey Columns and see the wonderful wizardry come to life.  Here you will find tableside hand magicians, pixie dust and mirth and magic scattered throughout the room.  You will follow a famous, powerful wizard and enjoy a mystical menu cascading from a buffet full of molecular gastronomy.  Photo opportunities bring to life the never ending battle between Good and Evil with immersive story based decor pieces and characters visit to cast a spell on the night!

Transportation Note: Event transportation will NOT be provided. Please feel free to use existing Disney buses, please plan accordingly for travel time.

“Hollywood Wrap Party”

In Hollywood, when the last shoot is over and the film is “in the can,” it’s time to celebrate! And this is precisely what you will do tonight. Tonight you’re not a fan… you are the stars! From dancing in the streets, to Disney attractions, to fine food and cocktails under the stars and entertainment galore, this is one night to celebrate and be celebrated!

If you plan to be in the park prior to the event, please note you will be asked to exit with our day guests.  You will need your event credentials (provided at registration) to enter the event.  Our group will be escorted to the event location from the park front entrance. 

Transportation Note: Disney Alumni Association will only be providing event transportation to and from the Hollywood Wrap Party and our host resorts, Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. You are also welcome to drive a personal vehicle and/or carpool. If you utilize the existing Disney bus transportation, please note, this will NOT be running at the conclusion of Saturday’s “Hollywood Wrap Party” event.

We encourage you to customize your #CPAlumni Homecoming Weekend activities. Below are additional events that we are excited to provide to you at a minimal cost. You are welcome to register additional family/friends to attend select events as listed below (maximum of 6 per registration).  Each activity has limited availability. Children under the age of 3 will be free to these events.

Character Palooza

11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Fantasia Ballroom

Alongside toys and monsters, tidy robots and talking dogs, Pixar stories have taken us to the playroom, college, race track, and even infinity and beyond since we were young. We’re bringing these stories to life for you at our Character Palooza event. Enjoy unique movie memorabilia, photo opportunities, character meet and greets, and nostalgic food and beverage offerings. The cost of this event is $15 per person, and your family and friends are welcome to attend.

Event transportation will not be provided. Please feel free to use existing Disney transportation, and plan accordingly for travel time.

Twilight Ticket Offer

This Twilight ticket offering is intended so you can enjoy the park (after 5PM) prior to our evening in-park event on Saturday, January 20th. This ticket can only be used at one theme park, it is not a park hopper. The number of tickets available for this twilight offer is limited and sold first-come, first-served. All guests, including those registered to attend the evening event, will be asked to exit the park at close. Event credentials (provided at registration) will be needed to enter the event location. NOTE: You are also able to purchase discounted tickets through our Conventions team. Information on this will be provided after you register.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a family member or friend along with me, to #CPAlumni Homecoming Weekend?

Yes, each alum will have the opportunity to register and pay for one family member/friend to attend the main weekend events– a ‘plus one,’ if you will.


Are the optional or “add-on” events included as part of our registration?

No, the add-on events have been created so you can customize your weekend and include additional family and friends.

These events will have a minimal cost associated with them and alumni can register up to six people to attend (including themselves).

These events do have a maximum capacity and registration for these will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can add and/or edit these events (based on availability) until Nov. 1, 2017.

Children under the age of three will be free to these events.


What if I can no longer attend? Can I transfer my registration?

We ask that you wait to register until you are confident that you can attend the event.

Registration is non-refundable but can be transferred to another alumni (you are responsible for any exchange of funds) via a link on your registration confirmation until Dec. 29, 2017.


Will transportation be provided to the events?

All events are taking place at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts where you can drive, carpool and/or utilize public transportation.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you are welcome to utilize the existing Disney bus system. We recommend that you factor in time for travel.

Any events where additional event transportation will be provided will be noted on the registration site.


Will there be a room block during the event?

We will have a limited number of discounted rooms available, and will share the details at the time of registration. For more information or to book a room, call the group reservation team at (407) 939 – 4686. The team will be available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. EST.

*Note: We recommend confirming your event registration prior to booking travel arrangements.


How should I think about travel expenses?

You will be responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations and transportation to and from Walt Disney World Resort for this event.

If you are staying on Disney property, we encourage you to utilize Disney transportation to attend the weekend activities. (Of course, you will be welcome to carpool or utilize your own personal vehicle.)

Any event that includes transportation will be noted at the time of registration.

Can I pick up the Twilight Tickets in advance and use them before the event weekend? 

Unfortunately, this is not an option. The tickets will be distributed at the registration time that you chose with your event packet and merchandise.

Will #CPAlumni Homecoming Weekend attendees receive Disney Parks tickets?

No. Once event registration has been completed, you will have the ability to purchase theme park tickets at a discounted rate. They are not included with your registration.
