Did anyone receive an offer for the Fall or Fall Advantage programs at the Disneyland® Resort? It won’t be long until hundreds of you will be joining us in California for the adventure of a lifetime!

As you get ready to begin your program and think about all of the important things (packing, classes, your role, etc.), I thought it would be fun to put together a list of seven attractions that you must experience while you’re here. After all, you’re here to have fun and nothing is better than visiting the theme parks with your roommates on your day off!

1). Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!: Yeah, I know that many of you were disappointed to see the Hollywood Tower Hotel go away, but have you been on this new mission? It’s amazing! This free-fall adventure will have you screaming the entire time and the big-thrill drop sequence will make you leave your seat at least once – literally!

Drop by with your Disney College Program roommates and give this thrilling mission a go; you’ll thank me later.

2). Radiator Springs Racers: Cars Land is my favorite land at any Disney theme park and this attraction kicks the fun into overdrive! As you’re zooming through the desert landscape, look all around you because it’s almost like you’re part of the movie. Make sure you go on this attraction during the day and at nighttime. And when you’re done, stand right in the middle of Cars Land and soak it all in because the view is wheel-y spectacular.

3). “it’s a small world” Holiday: You’re probably thinking, really? The song will be stuck in my head forever! Trust me, you won’t want to miss the holiday version of this popular attraction. Returning in November 2018, this classic attraction will get a seasonal spin and wishes for peace on Earth come to life from choruses around the world.

This special holiday experience will have you singing along to popular holiday music and I guarantee you’ll be dazzled by the thousands of shimmering lights (inside and outside). Gather your friends and give this attraction a chance this holiday season. I bet you can’t ride it just once!

4). Haunted Mansion Holiday: This is another one of our popular attractions that gets a holiday makeover every year, and I promise Jack Skellington will get you into the spirit of the season. From jack-o-lanterns and wreaths, to terrifying toys and spooky ghosts, this creep-tastic classic is a can’t-miss during the fall program.

Plus (and this is my favorite part) Sally, Jack and Oogie Boogie are also on hand to wish you a Season’s Screamings!  It begins in September, so make sure to experience the original Haunted Mansion during the beginning of your program, too, so you can get the best of both chilling worlds.

5). Matterhorn Bobsleds: This was not only the first roller-coaster-style attraction at Disneyland Park, it’s also the very first tubular steel roller coaster in the world! Oh, and Walt Disney played a major part in bringing this attraction to Disneyland; which by the way, is the only Disney park in the world to have the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Hop onboard your speeding alpine sled and let me know if you spot the Abominable Snowman.

6). Toy Story Midway Mania!: Take aim at the targets and challenge your roommates to a friendly competition to see who can land the highest score. Keep track of your scores throughout the program and try to find some of the hidden gems that unlock targets worth even more. This attraction is a rootin’ tootin’ good time and no matter how many times you experience it, you’ll have a blast!

7). Main Street, U.S.A., Fire Engine: I know; it’s not exactly an attraction, but where else can you ride on a fire engine and take in all of the sights and sounds at one of the most magical places in the world?

This iconic vehicle is a replica 1916 fire engine and has been traveling up and down Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park for nearly 60 years. You haven’t experienced Disneyland unless you’ve taken a ride on this historical treasure with your roommates. And get this: rumor has it that Walt Disney loved it so much that he used to drive it around the park before it opened!

Bonus: Classic and new character meet and greets! All we have to say is “Wakanda Forever!” Although this is a limited time offering, no close date has been announced yet and we can only hope that Black Panther will still be meeting and greeting this fall! However, the parks also have many other exciting character meet and greets where you can interact and grab a photo with your favorites!

If you’re joining us in the fall on the Disneyland College Program, I hope you take the time to enjoy these must-see attractions. Let me know what you think!
