Are you looking to gain additional skills while on your Disney College Program? Career Development Workshops (CDWs) provide information, tools, and resources to support your personal and professional development.
Flexible Workshop Offerings
Facilitators work closely with participants during these 2-hour sessions. Workshops meet one time on select Tuesdays or Thursdays throughout your Program in Vista Way or Patterson Court classrooms.
Earn a Professional Development Certificate
Florida participants may opt to take any or all of the offerings. A certificate of completion will be rewarded by the Education Office in Vista Way 703 upon completion of five workshops.
It’s Easy to Register!
Registration opens approximately 4-weeks prior to each workshop date. Current participants should be sure to request time off from work. To sign-up, visit the Disney Development Connection on The Hub. Waitlisted students are encouraged to still show up should spots open.

Expand Your Network
It’s not what you know or who you know in the world of business. It’s who knows you. In Networking 101, learn networking tips, including the skills of an effective networker, do’s and don’ts, formal versus informal networking and the tools and resources available to help you get started.
Learn How to Position the Program on Your Resume
Uncover resume writing myths, and the do’s and don’ts of writing an effective resume in Resume Writing. This class will provide you with basic strategies for developing an effective resume. This session will not include time for individual resume review, but you may schedule a Writing Lab appointment with a team member at the Disney Learning Center.
Gain Knockout Interview Skills
Acing the Interview provides participants with basic strategies and suggestions for effectively marketing themselves before, during, and after the interview experience. Learn ways to approach the most commonly asked questions and to differentiate yourself as a candidate.
Build Your Brand
Personal Branding takes a look at the corporate world of brand management and shows you how to apply it to your career. You can build your personal branding statement… a brand called YOU!
Develop Presentation Skills & Confidence
Presentation Skills: Presenting with Confidence helps you gain the confidence to deliver a message in front of a group. This offering highlights the differences between impromptu speaking, presenting, and facilitating. It will assist you with organizing your thoughts and provide insights into engaging your audience.
Learn Professionalism, Disney-style
In Professionalism, you will learn industry business standards and tips that promote professionalism and credibility in the workplace.
